The Legend of Taps McFirkin Grows

TapsTaps McFirkin, the infamous mascot of the Kalamazoo Gazette’s KalamaBrew blog, recently went on a canoeing trip filled with panic and trepidation followed by overwhelming emotion (the kind like at the end of those movies with Humphrey Bogart). The story of this canoeing trip is even more poignant because of the love felt for Taps across the United States.

KalamaBrew bloggers John Liberty and Josh Smith — first hand witnesses to the saga — tell the tale.
